Hm good question?!

In my opinion the fork from Davids Aspes is like this Model Aspes 1979
Only the first 1979 Navaho had this Fork, the later modells have had the same then on your picture

But if I have a look to the mounted exhaust on Davids bike, it could be the model 79/80. This model has the exhaust from beginnen left motor side to the right side. But I couldn't the the frame of David's bike in details to find the right answer.

Davids frame has this bent tube where the shock absorber is mounted, like the later models with plastic tank.

The 79 model that you mean, as I know it, has the straight frame tubes (like Roberts projekt). So the pic of the model that Robert posted above is the right in my opinion, but with the seat of the early 79 model.

But then the fork ist wrong, it has to be this one here



But it is not a problem, it works and it is the less often build fork too.

I think the parts on my ASPES are original but perhaps different between France and Germany,
The picture model of RONCO his same mine (exept the tank paint and exhaust end)
on the exhaust end it write "ASPES"

just take a few more pics and post them. So this thread will be more interesting and informative. Often there will be discovered something unusual. So the members are able to give you some hints and advice.

Look at the restoring reports on this forum. They will give you an example how we present the projects.

Hi David,

can you post a pic from your front hub? From both sides. We need to compare to Werna68's hub. He isn't sure if his Aspes has the right hub fitting to the fork.
